1960–1966 C10: First-Generation C/K Parts Guide
July 14, 2026 · 4 min read

A milestone truck
The first-generation C/K introduced a drop-center ladder frame that let the cab sit lower, plus independent front suspension for an almost car-like ride. Offered in Fleetside (smooth) or Stepside (fendered), and badged with the new 10/20/30 designations — you’ll still hear folks call them "Apache 10."
What to watch for
- Cab corners, floors, and rockers
- Bed wood and cross sills
- Lower fenders and door bottoms
- Original trim and glass, which can be harder to source
